The short version
Flirt Keyboard has no accounts, no sign-in and no ads inside the app. Your screenshots are read on your phone. What the app remembers about the people you text is stored on your phone. To write a reply, the words of the chat you screenshotted are sent to an AI service, and nothing you type on the keys is ever recorded or sent.
What stays on your phone
Your screenshots. When you take a screenshot with the keyboard open, the app reads the text out of it on your device. The image itself never leaves your phone. The app only ever looks at your newest screenshot. It does not open the rest of your photo library.
What it remembers about people. For each person you get replies for, the app keeps a short summary, a list of facts (for example a birthday they mentioned), how close you are to your goal with them, and a few of your own past messages so replies sound like you. All of this is stored on your device. You can see it, edit it and delete it in the app under People.
What you type. The keyboard never records, stores or sends your keystrokes. Autocorrect runs on your device.
What leaves your phone
The chat text, to write your reply. Replies are written by Google's Gemini AI. Each time you ask for replies, the app sends, through our own server: the text of the conversation in that screenshot (your messages and the other person's), the name shown at the top of the chat, the goal and notes you set in the app, what the app remembers about that person, and a few of your own recent messages to them so the reply matches how you text. Google processes this solely to generate the reply, under Google's API terms, and does not use it to train its models. Our server does not store the chat text or the replies.
Other people's messages. The conversations you screenshot include messages written by other people. They are processed only to write your reply and to keep the summary described above on your own phone. Please only use the app on conversations you are part of.
Purchases. Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. Your purchase receipt and a random install ID are processed by RevenueCat so your subscription unlocks reliably. No name, email or payment details are involved.
Anonymous usage counters. The app tells our server when a feature is used, such as "the keyboard was switched on" or "the paywall was shown", and your answer to "Where did you find me?". These are bare counts. They carry no account, no device identifier, no advertising ID and none of your chats, and they cannot be linked to you or your device.
Ad measurement, only if you allow tracking. Before the paywall, iOS asks whether Flirt Keyboard may track you. If you choose Allow, your device's advertising identifier and purchase events are shared with Meta so we can measure which ads brought people to the app. If you choose Ask App Not to Track, no identifier is shared. The app works identically either way, and you can change your choice any time in iOS Settings, under Privacy & Security, Tracking.
Permissions, and why
Allow Full Access (keyboard). iOS requires this before a keyboard may use the internet, which is how replies are fetched. It is not used to record what you type.
Photos, Full Access. A keyboard cannot show a photo picker, so reading your newest screenshot with no extra taps needs library access. Only the newest screenshot is ever fetched.
Notifications (optional). Reminders about birthdays and dates people mentioned are scheduled on your device. Nothing is sent to us to make them work.
What we don't do
No tracking without your explicit consent through the iOS prompt.
No selling of personal data.
No accounts, and no profiles tied to your identity.
No storing of your chats or replies on our server.
Age
Flirt Keyboard is for adults. It is rated 17+ and is not intended for anyone under 17.
Deleting your data
In the app, open You and tap Forget everyone to erase everything it has learned, or open one person and tap Forget. Deleting the app removes everything stored on the device. There is no server-side account to delete.
